About the Venue:
The 200 year old Historic Stone House Inn offers its Royal Heritage Ballroom as a unique wedding venue. The legacy and historical significance of The Stone House continues to be celebrated and its history remembered. Built in 1822 by Colonel Andrew Stewart in Pennsylvania's scenic Laurel Mountains, it was first known as the Fayette Springs Hotel, a popular resort and dance hall.
As one of the original wayside inns along the National Road, guests, comprised of weary waggoners and travelers, came from miles away to enjoy banjo picking and luxurious accommodations. And later, it became known for exactly what it is, a stone house. Over the years, The Stone House has survived grandiose remodels and bustling kitchens, with a singular focus has withholding the test of time: providing quality experience, fine dining, and service to its guests.
The Stone House is a staple to Farmington and the surrounding mountains, and remains a destination to many. While the name and owners have changed (only 4 times in 200 years!), this popular culinary destination continues to impress nearly 200 years later, so why not continue a time-honored tradition, and plan your wedding at The Stone House Inn’s Royal Heritage Ballroom? It is the perfect place for the wedding of your dreams!
Offering a large ballroom full of tables to seat 120 of your loved ones, white or ivory linens, beautiful china place settings, and 13 onsight guest rooms in addition to the newlywed suite. There is also an onsite gazebo able to accommodate an intimate ceremony prior to the cocktail hour and reception. Why look elsewhere, when even 200 years later, The Stone House still has it all!
